Our Story

Welcome to Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods. Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Bill and Sharon Reynolds. Bill has been in the Sporting Goods industry for 35 years with his wife Sharon by his side. Serving the public since 1962, Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods is an icon in Arnold. We carry an extensive line up of fishing products including current fly fishing products, flies, waders, wading boots, rods, reels, line, bait, terminal tackle, trolling equipment and anything for your freshwater needs.

We are located on Highway 4, one of six designated Scenic Bi-Ways in California, located near some of the most beautiful and greatest fishing waters in the West, including Lake Alpine, Spicer Meadow Reservoir, The North Fork of The Stanislaus, and the famous Blue Ribbon Trout Water, The East Fork of The Carson River. There are also lots of back country lakes and streams near our store. Whether it’s trolling in our lakes, spin fishing in our rivers, or fly fishing, Highway 4 has it all. Stop in for all up to date fishing information. 


We are a full line Sporting Goods store. We carry everything for your camping needs, including sleeping bags, tents, stoves, lanterns and all camping accessories. We are also a Hi-Tec footwear dealer, outfitting the public with all of the newest hiking footwear. Check out our Flojos, the most comfortable flipflop made. We carry Intex inflatables including boats, rafts, tubes, and beds, and pumps. In our athletic department we carry everything for your outdoor and indoor games, including horseshoes, volleyball, footballs, tennis balls, table tennis, and the popular Disc Golf. Check out our shooting and hunting department for all of your shooting needs, including ammo, BB's, pellets, air-soft, targets, 
and BB and pellet rifles.


We also carry a variety of snow goods for all of your winter needs, such as snow boots, goggles, ski gloves, troopers, beanies, sleds and discs. We rent Skis, Snowboards, Snowshoes and winter apparel including snow boots. We have excellent prices on our rentals and 
always offer exceptional service.
